I feel the same way about mine. I just am NOT feeling it. There are some interesting bits, but most of it right now makes me want to puke. :/ How many years have you done this? Is it normally like this?
Yes, actually. Part of the beauty of doing 50k is that you have to learn to persevere at times like these in order to make the deadline, and that’s a very valuable skill - one that I’ve carried into my other forms of writing. Writers don’t always write when they feel like it, and mostly writers write when they’d rather be doing other things. Just a fact of life.
But that doesn’t mean I still won’t whine about it, though. ;) Eventually it gets better, I promise. ♥
